Our stock maps are all taken from antique European maps and are available in 4 sizes, all based upon European standard paper sizes:
A0 841 x 1189 mm, or 33.1 x 46.8 in
A1 594 x 841 mm, or 23.4 x 33.1 in
A2 420 x 594 mm, or 16.5 x 23.4 in
A3 297 x 420 mm, or 11.7 x 16.5 in
Our A3 size product is actually a desk Atlas, containing an A1 map in 4 separate sheets, each of which can be easily viewed through the transparent sleeves. (Coming soon!)
In addition, there are 2 options for the A0, A1 and A2 sizes:
- A laminate can be applied that completely protects the surface of the map. It is almost completely invisible and is a much better option than glass if you wish to frame your map, because it is glare free and adds no weight. Adding laminate can save a tremendous amount over framing in glass.
- Rods can be fitted with which you can hang your map in a way similar to a tapestry. Many of our customers have found this to be a much better option than framing, and it looks great, especially with the larger maps. The maps with rods are also laminated. They are more expensive to ship, so the additional cost for rods includes extra postage to cover the additional weight.
Either of these options can be added to any of our A0, A1 or A2 maps.
Maps take from 5-7 days to make and are shipped with tracked postage from Ireland. Delivery is usually 2 – 3 weeks, so time from order will be as much as 30 days.
